Surprise! Mobile Advertising is Annoying!

A recent study has revealed what most of us already knew, 64% of those surveyed said receiving advertising messages on their mobile phone is annoying. Why should that surprise us? The question is what does this mean for the medium? Will consumers eventually warm to the idea of receiving advertising messages on their mobile phones? I doubt it will find any more acceptance than soliciting calls on your land line at dinner time. But that is only my opinion.
