Super Proposal Post Game - Update

By now, you know the story of JP from our previous article. He’s the guy who was trying to propose to his girlfriend with an ad to run during Super Bowl XLI. You can read his story.

Well, it didn’t quite happen that way. At the last second, a sponsor decided to cancel his run during the game. All was not lost, though, as JP had a backup plan.

He decided to run his proposal on his girlfriend’s favorite TV show Veronica Mars. So he bought a 30-second spot and ran it on Wednesday February 7th. You can watch the proposal and catch Geraldine’s reaction.

It appears that she accepted his proposal, even if it wasn’t during the biggest game of the year.

Needless to say, JP and Geraldine have been extremely busy since the proposal aired. They’ve had interviews with local Seattle TV and radio stations as well as with Inside Edition.

The happy couple’s 15 minutes of fame may come to an end, but you can keep up with them as they post regular updates on their website.

Maybe JP will have his wedding aired during the Super Bowl next year. It could happen.
