
Crysdle® Candles Identity
The first step when SPAR took New Orleans Flair, LLC on as a client was to develop a brand essence for their Crysdle® Candles brand. In the brand essence process, the SPAR team works with the client in an intense series of exercises that are designed to arrive at terms and statements that accurately reflect the brand’s core values and objectives. This essence is then used as the standard by which all packaging, promotions, and advertising are measured.
The brand’s logo design is a result of applying the brand essence to the identity development process. The logo needed to appeal to the brand’s core consumers, which are mostly women, with a feminine touch and at the same time give a feel of business substance. We designed the logo using two fonts in combination, and the letters “C” and “d” were different to emphasize the brand’s unusual name and pronunciation.
The business card utilized the same holographic materials and design style as the product’s box for cross-platform continuity and message re-enforcement.
