Canadian Hunter WhiskyThe Canadian Hunter Canadian Whisky package has been around for many years and never had a package upgrade. View old package. The brand owners decided it was time and commissioned SPAR to bring the package into the 21st century. Since the brand has a strong and loyal following, there was a risk of alienating those consumers with too radical of a change, so SPAR approached the design with the intention of maintaining the iconic hunter they were familiar with but, at the same time, update his image and elevate Canadian Hunter's perceived value to appeal to a broader market. Our solution was to slightly update the hunter illustration and convert to modern, clear Pressure Sensitive Label (PSL) instead of paper as used before. UPDATE: The brand's owner reports that Canadian Hunter's sales are "substantially up" since the introduction of the new package. Package upgrades can help sales.
