Praline Pecan Liqueur PackagePraline Liqueur has been around since the the seventies. Originally it was in a cream colored bottle styled after an apothecary jar then changed to clear glass. The brand owners, Sazerac Company, Inc. of New Orleans, asked SPAR to revise the design using a stock bottle from their inventory but give it a new look. This project had a very tight budget, and we worked with Sazerac to give them a strong package that increased shelf presence without busting the budget. The SPAR designers reached back to the original 1970's design for the color of the package, a nice warm cream color. The labeling is clear pressure sensitive with warm browns and bronze graphic details. The designers also looked back in time for the carriage scene originally done back in the late seventies for Sazerac by the "famous" New Orleans illustrator, Lane Casteix - me. The new package sports an updated look with a retro feel that gives the product high visibility on the shelf and speaks to its New Orleans heritage. Silver ADDY Award Winner, New Orleans 2010
