W.L. Weller Package Design

The W.L. Weller 12 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey package was due for a change to bring the package design more in line with the high quality of the bottle's contents. View old package. The project lasted over a year, since it included creating a new bottle designed to resemble a pot still. Weller 12's new package decoration created by SPAR appears at first to be a two-process labeling system, ACL (Applied Color Label) and PSL (Pressure Sensitive Label), but is really only one labeling system, PSL simulating ACL on a clear label medium. The effect is striking and test markets have suggested the new package design is a resounding success!
